MATERIALS

All Forge+Thread products are made from polymer clay—a lightweight, non-toxic PVC material that allows me to create vibrant, bold earrings. Some designs are coated with resin for added protection, especially for delicate hand-painted details or gold leaf accents.

FINDINGS

• Earring Posts: All posts are hypoallergenic surgical steel, free from lead and nickel, making them perfect for sensitive ears.
• Wire Hoops: Our black wire hoops are also lead and nickel-free.
• Gold-Plated Posts: Available as an upgrade and additional cost for selected items. Contact me before purchasing for more details.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

• Storage: Keep your earrings in a clean, dry place, ideally away from other jewellery to prevent scratches.
• Avoid: Contact with oils, creams, perfumes, and water (including showers, baths, or swimming).
• Cleaning: Gently wipe with a soft wet wipe to remove dirt or residue. For stubborn marks, use a cotton bud and micellar water but be cautious—over-cleaning may damage the surface or discolour the clay.
• Sunlight: Long exposure to direct sunlight may cause discolouration of coatings.

PLEASE NOTE

Each piece is handmade, so slight imperfections—like fingerprints, lint, or tiny bumps—may occur, making them "imperfectly perfect." Colours may also vary slightly from the photos due to lighting or screen settings.
