All Forge+Thread products are made from polymer clay- a non toxic PVC base which allows me to create vibrant earrings that are super lightweight

Some products have been given a resin coating to protect the delicate hand painted designs or gold leaf detail 

FINDINGS

All earring posts are hypo-allergenic surgical steel, meaning they are free of lead and nickel, our black wire hoops are also lead and nickel free, which is perfect for sensitive ears.

For those who have extra sensitive ears we have an option to upgrade to gold plated earring posts *on selected items for an additional cost - please contact to enquire about this.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

• Store in a clean, dry place, ideally separately from other items to avoid scratching or on a jewellery stand
• Avoid contact with oils, creams, perfumes etc as these may affect longevity.
• Not recommended for wear during showering/ bathing/ swimming.
• Do not bend, drop or throw your earrings.
• Long exposure to direct sunlight can discolour coatings used on the clay
• To clean polymer clay pieces, rub gently with a soft wet wipe  to remove any dirt or residue left on the clay pieces such as make-up or oils etc
• If water does not remove the marks you can *very gently* wipe them down with some rubbing alcohol and a cotton bud – please be extremely careful when doing this as over cleaning the clay with alcohol can leave damaging effects such as discolouration of the clay or damage to details of the top layer. Do not do this on any foils or paint as this will affect the surface and potentially remove the top layer of the protection glaze.

 Please note, I make each item by hand which makes them imperfectly perfect. There may be finger prints/lint or little bumps in the clay, although I do try my best to remove these they can still occur. Colours of the clay may slightly differ to the photo - this can be due to different lighting/screen settings etc...
